Warranty

From the date of purchase of a product, the authorised retailer from whom the product was purchased has a 2-year statutory warranty obligation with regard to deficiencies. This includes material defects and production errors. Within a warranty claim, the defective item is repaired, replaced, or credited free of charge. Defects that are caused by normal wear and tear of the product, improper use, personal negligence and external influences by humans, animals or force majeure are not included in the warranty claim. This warranty applies on an EU-wide level, including Switzerland, and is binding for all consumer goods. If the retailer fails to fulfil their warranty obligation, your product still falls under the warranty.

Guarantee

The so-called guarantee is an individual and voluntary promise of the manufacturer. We guarantee that defective Deuter products are to be repaired for as long as possible. The warranty excludes defects that are caused by normal wear and tear of the product, improper use, personal negligence, and external influences by humans, animals or force majeure. After the two-year warranty expires, the Deuter promise still applies: We do our best to repair your Deuter product through our repair service.
